Online Advertising has grown 26.8% overall in 2006 according to EMarketer.com

Other key statistics worth considering are:

• The total online advertising spending in the United States for the past year is $38 Billion
• Spending on Google Ad channel’s grew by 65% last year and by the end of 2007 Google will be around 30% of total online advertising spend.
• Ad dollars continue to shift to the internet for example, Internet ad spending by auto manufacturers rose nearly 52% during the first seven months of this year but the overall  auto manufacturer advertising spend decreased.
